Last fall I was honored to be a part of a gorgeous La Jolla beach wedding, planned and designed by the incredible Vanessa Van Wieren of Alchemy Fine Events . The wedding was not your typical "beachy" soiree. Yes, there were shells. Yes, there was sand. But what glamorous sand and shells they were! Shimmery sequins rippled throughout the room, echoing the sea. Oversized origami, and individual paper cranes artfully scattered throughout gave the event a subtle Asian flair. What a night!
