When wrapping a gift, I try to consider the best way to attach a card or envelope. Should I add a cute tag? Or simply tape down the sealed envelope and risk it popping off? And though I am crafty, I don't always want to pull a Martha. Here is an easy tip. It so simple that I can't believe it took me this long to think of.
Pointed flap envelopes work best, but square should work too. Simply tuck the flap under the ribbon then carefully moisten just the point of the flap.
Fold the envelope shut and press to seal. Now the envelope is wrapped around the ribbon and should stay put in transit to your event. It takes all of ten seconds and no extra tape!
